You can now create your Sims as mermaids and mermaids

You can create this new creature directly in Create a Sim mode

But there are also gameplay ways to turn regular Sims into mermaids

Mermaids can also become normal Sims again

Children can become mermaids, but their tails are not present until they are teenagers

Children of mermaids automatically become mermaids too

Mermaids don’t have fins on land, but can move like normal Sims

They also have a special relationship with dolphins and have special abilities

Mermaids need  hydration instead of hygiene

They must not dry out and must always come into contact with water

This is achieved by swimming in the sea, showering, bathing or drinking water

Mermaids have special interactions

You can curse other Sims, which will bring their spirits down

You can drag Sims deep for fun

They have a siren song

Your Sims can now swim in the sea

But this will only be possible in the new game world

They can walk freely in the water

There are lots that are built on the beach and reach into the water

From here, the Sims can even jump into the water directly from the property

On the water, your Sims can use sailboats and jet skis to get around

Even normal Sims can make friends with dolphins
