You can now create your Sims as mermaids and mermaids
You can create this new creature directly in Create a Sim mode
But there are also gameplay ways to turn regular Sims into mermaids
Mermaids can also become normal Sims again
Children can become mermaids, but their tails are not present until they are teenagers
Children of mermaids automatically become mermaids too
Mermaids don’t have fins on land, but can move like normal Sims
They also have a special relationship with dolphins and have special abilities
Mermaids need hydration instead of hygiene
They must not dry out and must always come into contact with water
This is achieved by swimming in the sea, showering, bathing or drinking water
Mermaids have special interactions
You can curse other Sims, which will bring their spirits down
You can drag Sims deep for fun
They have a siren song
Your Sims can now swim in the sea
But this will only be possible in the new game world
They can walk freely in the water
There are lots that are built on the beach and reach into the water
From here, the Sims can even jump into the water directly from the property
On the water, your Sims can use sailboats and jet skis to get around
Even normal Sims can make friends with dolphins
